Holding a training course entitled (Communication Skills) at Al-Hussein University College In accordance with the directives of the esteemed Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to implement the plan for student and university activities and activate the role of psychological counseling and educational guidance for the year (2024-2025) and under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Hussein University College, Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Qarawi, the Continuing Education Division, in cooperation with the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Division at the college, held this morning, Sunday 10/13/2024 the training course entitled (Communication Skills) Lectured by Eng. Nahed Al-Obaidi, a faculty member, and managed by Professor Dr. Sabah Al-Jabri, and attended by students of the Department of Medical Devices Engineering Technology at the college. The lecturer touched on the concept of communication, its historical stages of development, its importance, elements, patterns, forms, and obstacles in the educational process, in addition to the Ten Commandments of Effective Communication, as well as how to develop the skills of speaking, listening, reading, writing, persuasion, and using educational technologies, which would enhance students' capabilities and efficiency and build their positive life and practical personality before entering the labor market. It is worth noting that the symposium witnessed positive interaction from the students, as it provided wide benefit from various life skills.
