Al-Hussein University College Holds a Scientific Seminar on Combating Negative Phenomena in Iraqi Society

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Hussein University College, Prof. Dr. Saleh Al-Quraawi, the Continuing Education Division and the Media Unit at the college organized a scientific seminar titled "Combating Foreign Negative Phenomena in Iraqi Society" on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at the college's grand hall. The seminar was moderated by Prof. Dr. Sabah Al-Jaberi and featured presentations from Mr. Alaa Hussein Al-Hassnawi, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department in Karbala, Mr. Abbas Al-Moussawi, Head of the Media Department of the same department, and Mr. Ali Al-Nasrawi, Director of the Technical Unit of the department.

The seminar aimed to highlight the dangers posed by negative phenomena affecting Iraqi society and to offer solutions and strategies to combat them. It also addressed the role of academic and security institutions in raising societal awareness and confronting these challenges.
