Al-Hussein University College Holds an Awareness Seminar on Gray Water Treatment and Reuse

In line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to implement the national strategy for higher education and to promote environmental culture and awareness, and under the patronage of Dr. Saleh Al-Qarawi, the Dean of Al-Hussein University College, the Continuing Education Department, in cooperation with the Sustainable Energy Committee at the college, organized a scientific seminar titled "Gray Water Treatment and Reuse for Irrigation Purposes."

The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Batoul Hassan Ibrahim, a faculty member at the College of Engineering, University of Karbala.

The seminar aimed to promote the concept of rationalizing the consumption of clean water, in addition to exploring the characteristics of gray water and its potential for reuse in agricultural purposes.

The seminar was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Department of Dentistry, a number of faculty members, staff, and students, and was moderated by Dr. Sabah Al-Jabari.
