On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Al-Hussain University College hosted students from Al-Thaqalayn Vocational Secondary School for Girls, affiliated with the Technical Education Authority / General Secretariat of the Holy Hussain Shrine, in a scientific visit aimed at enhancing the academic and technical awareness of the students.

The visiting delegation was received by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Moayad Kazem Hussein, and the Head of the Biomedical Engineering Technology Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Meiri.

The visit included an introductory scientific lecture about the Biomedical Engineering Technology Department, delivered by Mr. Mustafa Adel, the department's rapporteur. He presented an overview of the nature of the study in the department, its importance in the labor market, and the skills students acquire during their academic journey.

The visit also featured a field tour of the college’s scientific laboratories, where a detailed practical explanation was given about the functions and operations of the labs. This allowed the students to directly observe the practical aspects of university-level education in biomedical engineering fields.

At the conclusion of the visit, the college administration presented the delegation with the college’s shield, which was handed over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Meiri Al-Ta’i, as a token of appreciation for this constructive scientific initiative.
