Dean of Al-Hussain University College Participates in the Karbala Scholars Conference 2025

Under the patronage of the Governor of Holy Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, and under the supervision of the Vice President of the Karbala Provincial Council, Legal Expert Mahfouth Al-Tamimi, the Karbala Scholars Conference 2025 was held, with the participation of a distinguished group of scholars and researchers from various academic and scientific disciplines. The closing session was held at the historic Al-Ukhaidir Palace on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

Professor Dr. Saleh Mahdi Ma’arij Al-Quraawi, Dean of Al-Hussain University College, took part in the conference. The conference focused on three main themes:

• Renewable Energy
• Transportation and Crowd Management
• Environment

The idea behind the conference was to create a platform for scientific research aimed at finding practical and scientific solutions to the crises facing society, by utilizing academic studies to serve vital issues.

The scientific sessions featured outstanding presentations of research and studies, highlighting major challenges and future solutions in these critical fields.

At the conclusion of the conference, winners were honored and awards were presented in recognition of their valuable scientific contributions and research efforts.
