Training Workshop for a Faculty Member from Al-Hussain University College at the Media and Communications Commission in Holy Karbala

As part of strengthening academic and practical cooperation between educational and governmental institutions, Al-Hussein University College organized a training workshop at the Media and Communications Commission – Karbala Office. This was conducted in accordance with paragraph (2) of the joint cooperation protocol between the two institutions.

The workshop was titled:
"Fundamentals of Optical Signal Processing Using Optisystem Software"
It was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Al-Amiri, Head of the Department of Media and Communications Technology Engineering at the college.

The workshop covered the stages of optical signal processing, starting from its generation, passing through its transmission via optical fibers, and finally reaching the receivers. A detailed explanation was provided on the different types of signals and methods for modeling them using the Optisystem software to achieve optimal performance and practical application.

The workshop targeted engineers from the Media and Communications Commission who specialize in this field, aiming to enhance their technical skills and update their knowledge in this vital area.

This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities through which the college seeks to support and develop national competencies and to activate the terms of partnerships with official institutions in the Holy Karbala Governorate.
