Al-Hussain University College Holds the First Cybersecurity Forum

Under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Hussain University College, Professor Dr. Saleh Mahdi Ma'arij Al-Qarrawi, the college organized the First Scientific Forum on Cybersecurity as part of its series of scientific activities aimed at keeping pace with modern developments and serving the academic and technological community.

The forum witnessed the participation of several public and private colleges and universities and was attended by a distinguished group of deans, academics, and researchers specialized in information technology and cybersecurity.

The opening session included a lecture by Professor Dr. Al-Harith Abdul Karim Abdullah, who discussed the future of cybersecurity and global challenges in this field. This was followed by a lecture delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Saif Hussam Abdul Wahid, who addressed the fundamental technologies used in protection against cyberattacks.

Additionally, a number of students from public and private universities presented scientific (practical) presentations on various topics in cybersecurity, which were evaluated by a specialized scientific committee. The forum concluded with an honoring ceremony for the winners and outstanding participants.

The sessions of the forum were chaired by Professor Dr. Sabah Rasool Al-Jabri and Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Abdullah, who praised the high level of scientific discussions and presentations, emphasizing the importance of continuing such events to enhance awareness and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity.
