Al-Hussain University College Holds a Training Workshop Entitled: "Student Promotion Steps in the Student Information System"

In accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the directives of the Dean of Al-Hussain University College, Prof. Dr. Saleh Mahdi Ma’arij Al-Qura’awi, regarding the commencement of the student promotion process in the Student Information System, Al-Hussain University College held today, Sunday, November 2, 2025, a training workshop entitled "Student Promotion Steps in the Student Information System".

The workshop aimed to clarify the mechanism of student promotion under both the Annual System and the Bologna Process.

The workshop began with an introduction to the Higher Education Platform and the systems integrated within it, followed by a detailed presentation of all stages involved in the promotion process — starting from the Registration Department, passing through the Academic Departments, and concluding with the Examination Committees and the announcement of results.

The workshop was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rasool Mohammed Imran, Head of the Information Technology Division, and moderated by Asst. Prof. Dr. Saif Hussam Abdulwahid.

This workshop comes as part of the college’s continuous efforts to implement the ministerial directives related to the automation of higher education and the comprehensive digital transformation, contributing to the enhancement of academic and administrative performance and improving the efficiency of electronic systems at the college.
