Scientific seminar entitled: Promoting the culture of participation in the decision-making process

In accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to implement the National Strategy for Education and Higher Education for the year 2024 and under the patronage of the Dean of Al-Hussein University College, Professor Dr. Saleh Mahdi Maaraj Al-Qarawi, the Continuing Education Division at the college held a training course entitled (Enhancing the Culture of Participation in the Decision-Making Process). The course was lectured by Assistant Lecturer Thaer Habib Nasser, a faculty member at the college, who pointed out that the decision is a conscious process of choosing one of the alternatives from among the group of available alternatives to achieve a specific goal. A scientific methodology must be followed that starts with identifying the problem, collecting the necessary data, analyzing it, and evaluating the available options for the purpose of choosing the best of them, implementing it, and monitoring the results. The lecturer stressed the importance of enhancing the culture of participation in the decision-making process for the purpose of developing the skills of the institution's members, which leads to raising their morale and increasing their productivity. The course was attended by a number of teaching staff and employees, and was managed by Professor Dr. Sabah Rasool Al-Jabri.
